It is independent of but affiliated to the national governing body, the <a href=\"http:\/\/croquet.org.uk\/\">Croquet Association<\/a>.We formed in 1987 and are run by a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/committee\/\">Committee<\/a> elected each year at our AGM. You can see much of our past on <a href=\"http:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/our-history\/\">our History pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0aims are to promote Croquet in all its forms in South East England and to develop facilities for playing the game. There are\u00a0two main versions: one is like snooker on grass; the other is a more aggressive game and can be learnt at a basic level in 10 minutes.<br \/>\n<em><span style=\"text-decoration: italic; font-size: small;\">Here&#8217;s an intro to croquet from the Croquet Association<\/span><\/em><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mCW_Rb5Y7t4\" width=\"100%\" height=\"150\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>If you haven&#8217;t played before then most of our clubs have Open Days in the Summer at which you&#8217;ll be welcomed.
