Details of locally organised tournaments and events can be seen via our <a href=\"https:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/events\/category\/all\/\">Diary page<\/a>\u00a0and are usually open to all members of our clubs. Some of these in the Croquet Association Fixture Calendar have different entry rules. We also have a very active competitive programme of team tournaments (below), in addition to our own <a href=\"https:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/leagues\">leagues<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Use our <button><a href=\"http:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/annual-registration\">REGISTRATION FORM<\/a><\/button> at the beginning of the year to enter our events as well as register. Any subsequent changes or additions should be sent directly to the Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Reports of winners and previous tournaments can be seen via our <a href=\"https:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/historic-tournament-reports\/\">Tournament Results page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>Current dates, locations (Sussex County except where noted) and Managers for our events can be seen on our <a href=\"https:\/\/southeastcroquetfederation.org.uk\/1674644977408\/events\/category\/secf-all\/secf_tournament\/\">Diary page<\/a>.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<table class=\"results\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th>Event<\/th>\n<th>Type<\/th>\n<th>Details<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"15%\">\n<h4>Association Teams<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\" width=\"12%\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">AC Handicap<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of four, Doubles<br \/>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<td>Teams of two pairs play three rounds on\u00a0Saturday and two on Sunday.<br \/>\nThis is a straight Swiss competition with each pair treated as individual entries, but the two pairs in a team will never play one another. The winners will be the team with most cumulative wins. In the event of a tie, net points will be considered. Games on Saturday are limited to 2 3\/4 hours with hoops reduced for the higher handicap teams. Time limits are 3 1\/2 hours on Sunday with all games 26 points.<br \/>\nManager: John Low<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>One Ball Teams<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">One Ball<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of three,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Singles<\/span><\/td>\n<td>Singles One Ball Handicap AC games played to\u00a0conventional One Ball rules. The final format depends on\u00a0the number of actual entries.<br \/>\nEach club will be limited to a maximum of one team of three players in the first instance. Time limits are 45 minutes for each round, with the first round starting at 10am and a minimum of 7 rounds.<br \/>\nThis event is held at <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Guildford &amp; Godalming<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nManager: Peter Adams<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>Short Croquet Teams<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Short Croquet<br \/>\n<\/span><em>Teams of four, Singles<\/em><\/td>\n<td>Four rounds of singles\/doubles played on half-lawns, with format as laid out in Appendix 6 of the AC Laws (14-point games, full bisque, with mandatory peels for low handicappers). Time limits of 75 minutes per game. Teams of four players; if under-subscribed a team of 3 can be considered.<\/p>\n<p>This event is held at <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ealing<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>Ladies Association Croquet Teams Day<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">AC Handicap<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of two or three,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> Singles and Doubles<\/span><\/td>\n<td>Teams of 2 or 3 welcomed, any handicap, preferably from one club, but\u00a0 joint entries welcome! Singles and doubles.<br \/>\nThere are three rounds &#8211; the 1st and 3rd rounds are singles and the 2nd\u00a0doubles. All games are 14 points and timed. Play starts at 10am.<br \/>\nPoints are awarded for wins, draws, peg-outs and peels!<br \/>\nAny changes will be at the manager&#8217;s discretion.<br \/>\nManager: Frances Low<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>Southern Challenge Teams<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">GC Level Play<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of four, Singles and<br \/>\nDoubles<br \/>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<td>Divided into two Divisions &#8211; with Division 2 split into a North and South. All three are run to essentially the same format, with minor differences because of the different number of teams in each.<\/p>\n<p>Teams of four players, normally in an\u00a0all-play-all arrangement plus additional play-offs dependent on overall\u00a0numbers.<br \/>\nEach match comprises one doubles and two singles level play\u00a0games.<br \/>\nAll players play an approximately equal number of singles and doubles games.<\/p>\n<p>Div 1 and Div 2 South held at <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Sussex County<\/span><\/strong> managed by Bill Arliss\/tba<br \/>\nDiv 2 North held at <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Surbiton<\/span><\/strong> managed by Martin Burger<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>Ladies Golf Croquet Teams Day<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">GC Handicap<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of four,<br \/>\nSingles and Doubles<br \/>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<td>The maximum handicap for entry is 12. Singles results count on your handicap card.<\/p>\n<p>Teams of 4 players for each round. There will be 6 rounds with each round being one match between 2 teams. Each round will consist of<b> 2 singles<\/b> &#8211; <b>one of which will be level play<\/b>, and <b>the other handicap <\/b>&#8211; and a <b>handicap doubles<\/b>. All games are 13 points -1st to run 7 hoops, and there will be time limits as there will be a tight schedule! With the normal SECF substitution policy, a team may field up to 8 players with the captain selecting the 4 for each round. The winner will be the team with the most match wins. Failing that it will be counted on games won and then AMD.<br \/>\nManagers: Linda Gavingan &amp; Robyn Clark<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>Golf Croquet\u00a0Teams Day<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">GC Handicap<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teams of four,<br \/>\nSingles and Doubles<br \/>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: x-large;\">&#8220;Bill&#8217;s Big Bash&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The tournament was introduced by Bill Arliss and managed by him until 2019.
