10th February 2021
Registrations and league/tournament entries for 2021 requested, but payment for leagues/tournaments not required until the situation for the Summer is clearer.
13th April 2020
Almost all clubs have reclaimed their refunds for Registration and Tournament fees, with Hassocks and Woking donating their fees to the SECF.
It is now planned to have the AGM in November to better help planning for 2021, given the abridgement of the season in 2020.

Last evening the SECF Committee considered the guidance from HM Government and the likelihood that all croquet will have to be suspended until at least the end of June 2020. We decided to cancel all of the Leagues and Events for 2020 and to refund all payments made, including the registration fee for 2020.
The SECF has some reserves and we felt that the registration fees could therefore be returned to member clubs who might have greater need of the funds.
We hope that we might be able to arrange some events in July, August or September and maybe even some Leagues. We will endeavour to keep you all informed, by directly notifying our member clubs.
We will be sending out details of how we propose to make the refunds soon – probably later today. We now have internet banking and the use of that service will be the preferred option.
