AC Worlds – Day 8

Today is semi-finals day (best of five again):

Robert Fletcher  v Mark Avery

Reg Bamford  v Logan McCorkindale

Mark beat the last American player Matthew Essick in a titanic struggle, winning in five games despite Matthew having several opportunities to win. (He managed to win despite having to finish off his lengthy game against Andrew Johnston for the first two hours yesterday.)

The other players had straight three games to nothing wins.
