Sussex County win Southern Challenge
The Croquet South East Southern Challenge had been a difficult tournament to put together with 4 of the original entries pulling out. My thanks to Hove Beach, Sussex 2 and our SE Federation team for stepping in to make it a very successful tournament.
The six teams faced a hot day at Southwick with most matches being decided by the third game.The clear winners with four wins was Sussex County 1. Second place was a very close run thing with 3 wins each and 88 net hoops was the Sussex County second team followed by the SE Federation composite team and Hove Beach.
