Cheam win Southern Challenge Division 2 North
The event was won by Cheam 1 who were unbeaten with 9/9 with their
Cheam 2 runners up with 5/9.
At 3:30 on day 2 there was a deluge and storm half way through round 10
and although I expected the lawns to drain quickly (which they did)
there was no enthusiasm to continue, maybe due to the heat and humidity
before then .
Reigate were a player short on both days (injuries) so I subbed the
first day and another Surbiton member Jo Luck on the second .
